As a Sales Coordinator, you will be the central communication hub within our sales team. You'll play a pivotal role in managing the sales process from start to finish, ensuring seamless communication and coordination between departments. This full-time onsite position in Indianapolis, IN. Requires some travel to attend 3 to 5 trade shows annually.

 

What you’ll do

  • Oversee the sales process from inquiry to order fulfillment ensuring accuracy and timely communication.
  • Coordinate between sales, production, and accounting for seamless order processing.
  • Maintain CRM (HubSpot/Odoo), facilitating effective customer follow-up on sales activities.
  • Oversee bid management, from prospecting to quote submission ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Organize and lead sales team meetings and support ongoing training efforts.
  • Drive new business prospecting and marketing initiatives to expand our customer base.
  • Provide project management support while assisting with sales quotes and leads.

 

What’s success look like:

 

1.    30 Days

  • Integrate yourself into a cohesive team while working with customers and systems.
  • Complete basic functions in HubSpot and Odoo

 

2.    60 Days

  • Facilitate weekly meetings with the sales team.
  • Maintain CRM (HubSpot) while building strong customer relationships.

 

3.    90 Days

  • Oversee the bid management process for all sales submitted including project management.
  • Personal development with learning new business prospecting and marketing.

Experience Needed:

  • High School diploma required; 2-year degree preferred, coupled with at least 3 years in customer service.
  • Preferred experience in manufacturing and fabrication.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, basic sales acumen, and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a focus on customer service.
  • Outstanding written, verbal communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft products, Adobe Creative Suite a plus).
