Roger Trinh Talent Solutions is collaborating on a unique project that involves supporting a buildout for a cohort comprising Amgen, BMS, AbbVie, Merck, GSK, Novo, AstraZeneca, and Bayer. We seek remote Medical Science Liaisons to join a growing clinical and scientific affairs team. These roles offer autonomy and high visibility with executives, providing ample growth opportunities. While considering candidates at all levels, we are particularly interested in Ph.D., PharmD, and MD candidates with proven experience in translational science, specifically clinical applications of RWE.



Overview:


The champion will focus on supporting the business development and sales team, including key account managers. Based remotely, this role is crucial for enhancing our commercial, research, and educational objectives by facilitating the exchange of clinical, scientific, and technical information with key opinion leaders (KOLs), potential clients, and the broader medical community.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Serve as an expert and Sales Team support on data offerings and precision medicine solutions, promoting the exchange of clinical and scientific information with KOLs and other potential clients within pharma and biotech.
  • Educate a wide audience about offerings through in-person and webinar-based presentations, ensuring they are informed about the latest advancements and how our services can benefit.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to organize and manage investigator-initiated research studies and support abstract and publication efforts.
  • Attend and provide summaries from key conferences and meetings, staying abreast of relevant medical and scientific advancements.
  • Proactively develop market intelligence on competitor products and innovations in development, ensuring the company remains at the cutting edge of precision medicine.
  • Actively participate in sales strategy meetings, contributing scientific insights that shape the approach to engaging potential customers, tailoring presentations and proposals to meet their specific scientific and clinical needs.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within potential customer organizations, acting as a scientific bridge between the company and the client to foster trust and collaboration.
  • Work closely with the sales team to develop and present customized solutions that clearly demonstrate how the company's data and services can solve specific challenges faced by potential customers, enhancing the value proposition.
  • Provide ongoing education and training to the sales team on the company's data capabilities, scientific advancements, and market trends, empowering them with the knowledge to engage confidently and effectively with clients.
  • Actively support the sales team during critical stages of the sales process, leveraging scientific expertise to address technical questions, overcome objections, and provide the reassurance potential customers need to finalize their decisions.


Required Skills:


  • Deep understanding of Molecular Oncology, genomic testing, and the clinical applications of real-world evidence (RWE) in patient care.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and public speaking skills, with a proven ability to communicate complex scientific topics effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence both internal and external stakeholders.


Education and Experience:


  • Advanced scientific or medical degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, MSN, BSN) with a fundamental understanding of oncology and molecular testing.
  • Preferred: 1+ years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) or in a similar role within diagnostics, biotech, or pharmaceutical industries.
