Our client is undergoing an exciting technology and process transformation with the replacement of our ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system globally with IFS. This transformation is critical to business success, and delivering the new system will help maximize the growth potential as our client capitalizes on 40 years of experience and the exponential opportunities open for us.   

The program consists of 5 individual delivery projects. The program objective is to implement the new IFS ERP system to support their current and future needs across our financial teams and our key company Value Streams (Development, Construction, HR, and Services).

A core element of the overall delivery is the enhancement of the solution to meet the full requirements of the our clients business. This will be achieved through the identification, development and delivery of “CRIMs” (Customisations / Configurations, Reporting, Interfaces and Modifications), as well as through the migration of legacy data into IFS.

As a Boomi Developer you will work within the project Technical Team alongside a number of Solution Architects, IFS Developers, IFS Consultants and other Technical Analysts / Developers. Your role will include input into the Design of Integrations which leverage the Boomi Integration layer, and configuration / test of the integrations, as designed.

The role will also include involvement in data migration activities.

You will:

·   Work with Solution Architects in the preparation and review of design documentation (Data Mappings & Structures / Design Patterns / Functional Specifications)

·   Develop profess flows in Boomi in accordance with best practices considering user requirements.

·   Configuration (Proficiency in creating and managing APIs using Boomi API Management. API policies, securing APIs, and monitoring API usage) and Unit Test of Integrations required to deliver a full IFS solution ecosystem to the RES business.

·   Work in conjunction with the Technical Project Manager to meet project timeline requirements in relation to Integration development activities.

·   Support the formal testing of the overarching IFS solution, including contributing to the System Acceptance Testing (SAT), Operational Readiness Testing (ORT) and Cut Over Trialling stages of the Blue Moon delivery.

Provide handover to support documentation/knowledge transfer to Center of Excellence team

Skills

·       Knowledge of Boomi components, architecture, and capabilities. This includes proficiency in using Boomi Atoms, Molecules, and Cloud.

·       Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, Cloud-based technologies, and enterprise architecture principles.

·       Ability to perform data mapping and transformations in the Boomi platform.

·       Familiarity with troubleshooting and debugging Boomi processes. Understanding of relational databases and SQL.

·       Knowledge of version control systems and versioning best practices within Boomi - Azure Dev Ops/GIT/Boomi.

·       Knowledge of security best practices and implementing security measures within Boomi integrations to ensure data privacy and compliance.

·       Ability to analyze and optimize the performance of Boomi integrations to ensure efficient data processing and minimal latency.

·       Experience in integration development across the full development lifecycle - design, development, testing, release, hyper care.

·       Ability to communicate complex issues to non-specialists, manage through influence, and get things done.

Detailed-oriented, organized, and able to quickly prioritize while managing parallel tasks.
