Vapor Ministries supports its mission through several income-generating businesses both locally and internationally and through individual, corporate, foundation, and church partnerships. Some of their primary business sources are their Birmingham based thrift stores in Vestavia, Greystone, and Westover. POSITION OBJECTIVE
Vapor Ministries is seeking a Project Manager who will report to the Vice President of Project Advancement, Mike Davenport and assist him in all managing both US and international projects. The Project Manager will manage physical projects from conception to project turnover. The Project Manager will wear several hats, such as building out new Vapor thrift stores and International Community Centers, producing project estimates, overseeing the management of Vapor Ministry properties, and wholistically developing the team. While Vapor works towards its goal of expanding thrift stores and centers by 2031, come be apart of something that will not only include huge growth potential for this individual, but an opportunity to have eternal impact for the Kingdom of God!

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED
- Bachelor’s Degree; Building Science related degree preferred
- 5+ years of project management experience, with some experience in estimating required
- Have a strong sense of order, structure, and systematization, and be able to function and lead a team as such
- Have the ability to provide effective, clear, inspirational leadership to a diverse team, in both Western and cross-cultural contexts
- Have a strong curiosity and appreciation for non-Western cultures.
- Have strategic planning capabilities, and have the ability to translate goals into strategies and tactics, and to rally a team to carry those tactics forward
- Have a strong understanding of financial reporting and forecasting
- Have exceptional verbal and written communication skills
