POSITION OBJECTIVE

Pearson Safety Solutions, a leader in industrial safety services, is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Account Executive. This remote position offers a unique opportunity to drive sales and growth within the company's safety staffing department. As a full-time sales representative, the Account Executive will engage in a variety of activities each week. Key responsibilities include prospecting qualified leads, building and nurturing a client base, meeting with clients both remotely and in-person, closing deals, and coordinating with our operational team to ensure proper project staffing. The role demands a high level of energy, self-motivation, and the ability to navigate industry-specific terminology with professionals at all levels, from C-suite executives to project managers and superintendents.


The ideal candidate will possess a four-year degree and have over three years of experience in safety staffing sales. They must be comfortable with rejection and possess the drive to succeed in a relationship-driven industry where connections are crucial. Pearson Safety Solutions provides comprehensive training on utilizing company resources and systems, though the candidate is expected to have a strong foundation in client acquisition and deal closure.

 POSITION KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prospecting: Identify and target potential clients for safety staffing services.
  • Client Meetings: Conduct meetings with clients both remotely and in-person to understand their needs.
  • Sales Execution: Develop and implement strategies to close deals and achieve sales targets.
  • Client Development: Foster and maintain long-term relationships with clients for repeat business.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
  • Coordination: Work with the operational team to ensure client projects are appropriately staffed.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales activities, client interactions, and market insights.
  • Training: Stay updated on company offerings and industry standards to effectively communicate with clients.
  • Networking: Attend industry events and conferences to expand the client network.
  • Follow-Up: Maintain consistent follow-up with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any issues.


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED

  • Sales Experience: Over three years of experience in safety staffing sales.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with safety protocols and industry-specific terms.
  • Degree: A four-year degree
  • Client Management: Proven track record of managing client relationships and driving client satisfaction.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills to close deals effectively.
