POSITION OBJECTIVE

Chick-fil-A Murfreesboro is seeking an individual to join the Business Ownership Path of their Leadership Development Program (LDP). This is a very intentional program in which individuals will rotate through critical areas of the restaurant learning all aspects of the business. During each rotation this individual will be receiving vision, coaching, business “scorecard” metrics, problem solving skills, teaching on how to develop others and raise up talent. We are seeking individuals who are self-starters, have a desire to  grow, the ability to multitask, and have excellent problem solving skills. 


Individuals in the LDP will begin as a team member and work his/her way up through several levels of leadership to the Director level before rotating through the different areas of the operation.  After mastering all  the Director level roles, this individual will  eventually become a Junior Partner and then Managing  Partner. Once a Managing  Partner, individuals in this program can apply to become an owner/operator with Chick-fil-A, apply for the corporate LDP program, or pursue an external path towards business ownership.


In the LDP, this individual will be a part of the leadership team, being led and developed by Lori May, the LDP Director,  as well as by Beau Noblitt, the Owner/Operator. This will be a super fast-paced environment,  standing 10+ hours each day, and working 45+ hours each week. As part of the program, this individual will get to lead others, build relationships with customers and team members, and  have the ability to capitalize on their gifts. We are looking for a self-directed servant leader with a teachable heart, growth mindset and hunger to take ownership of many responsibilities!


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

To begin as a team member; develop into a Director; then rotate through various aspects of the business (Drive Thru, Front of  House, Training, HR, etc) as a Director; eventually then become a Junior Partner as a training ground for Managing Partner.

Goal is to Manage Restaurant at a high level and learn all you need to know to operate your own Chick-fil-A one day or become an owner of your own business.


Promotion to Certified Trainer - Timeline: 60 days after the program start date.

■ Successful completion of initial team member training.

■ Demonstration of core competencies as defined in the

employee handbook

■ Positive performance evaluations from current trainers &

shift leaders

■ Submission of the application process as outlined in the

Pathway to More

■ Completion of all training and approved to step into the

role by Training Director & Managing Partner


Promotion to Shift Leader - Timeline: 90 days after the program start date.

■ Meet all requirements of Certified Trainer role

■ Must complete at least 3 training sessions. This can be

with a new hire, and or someone that needs to be

retrained in a specific area.

■ Submission of the application process as outlined in the

Pathway to More

■ Completion of all trainers and approved to step into the

role by Training Director & Managing Partner

■ Demonstration of leadership skills in shadow shifts

detailed in the training process

■ Positive performance evaluations from current Shift

Leaders.


Approval to Start Director Training - Timeline: 110 days after the program start date.

■ Meet all requirements of Shift Leader role

■ Completion of all prerequisite training provided to the

employee by Development Director and/or Managing

Partner

■ Demonstration of exemplary leadership and

problem-solving skills

■ Positive performance evaluations from higher

management

■ Submission of a Director Training application following the

Pathway to More




SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED

• 2 years of proven leadership experience (business, athletics, clubs, ministry, etc.)  

• Bachelor’s Degree

• Self-directed and driven leader with mindset of continuous improvement  

• Go-getter with the ability to think and problem solve  

• Willingness and humility to serve others first  

• Strong Communicator (ability to motivate and lead team members)  

• Attention to detail  

• Determination
