About Us

Based out of New York, our client is building an e-commerce platform that purchases and scales consumer brands selling over Shopify and other platforms. Our client cares deeply about brand building and brand equity and is working towards become a global brand innovator, bringing more choice, greater access, and better brand experiences to people everywhere.

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will report to the leadership team and will be responsible for managing full tech stack development and product roadmaps while providing an opportunity to grow into a department leader of a large technical team.

Along with that, here are some attributes that would make you successful:

• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills with the ability to discuss technical and non-technical business issues with a wide range of disciplines and departments (finance, operations, growth, marketing, etc.)
• 6-8+ years of architecting and engineering scalable software solutions
• Experience with eCommerce systems (Shopify)
• Solid background in end to end web technologies, including a how to write applications that scale well
• Expert familiarity with Javascript, including React, Next
• Broad experience optimizing front-end components with overall performance considerations and SEO principles in mind
• OOP and Java experience
• Linux scripting experience (Python, Ruby); working within the Linux CMD line
• AWS/GCP development experience
• You have a proven track record of building scaled systems and platforms that tackle difficult problems
• A strong teamwork-focused mentality

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of database creation and coding
