Our client is one of the largest Asian food distributor for national supermarkets. They are looking for a Merchandising & Sourcing Specialist for their location in Carlstadt, NJ.
Job Duties:
Purchase products through proper buying procedures
Check turnover of warehouse and manage inventory
Ensure the prompt and accurate creation of purchase orders in SAP
Assist stores as needed with any operational needs
Coordinate with warehouse on order issues, returns, delivery schedule, etc.
Perform regular store audit
Make weekly sales data
Review and analyze daily and weekly reports
Create and maintain item master data in SAP; Item Description, Scan Code, etc.
Job Qualifications:
1-2 years of related experience
A high level of organization and PC proficiency is required including a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
Strong written and oral communication skills in English and Korean
