The NPU Director will play a key role in developing brand strategy and new products as well as maintaining existing items for the Nail Products Unit department. The NPU Director will be expected to manage product portfolios, to develop new items, and to implement product strategies.

S/He will be expected to work cross-functionally alongside other departments such as the Marketing, Creative, and Sales departments in order to manage suppliers and collaborate with the aforementioned departments on applicable projects.

Creativity and a passion are a must for this role.

Job Description:

• Manage innovative product development and procure methods to support the brand’s strategic direction.
• Manage the planning and execution of product development.
• Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress while reporting and escalating said project plans to management if necessary.
• Communicate and work cross-functionally alongside other related departments for every applicable project.
• Manage Service Requests from other departments.
• Attend key retailer meetings as needed.
• Handle daily tasks related to all matters with suppliers, staff and interdepartmental personnel.

Additional Job Description:

• A Bachelor's Degree is required / MBA a plus.
• Experience in managing the launch process from beginning to end and develop product briefs.
• Ability to work successfully in a deadline-driven environment with a sense of urgency.
• Strong understanding of the beauty/fashion category, culture, and seasonal trends.
• Strong organizational planning and follow-up skills. Assertiveness, flexibility, and adaptability.
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in an efficient and timely manner.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a 10-12 of employees.
• Positive attitude and personality.
• Proficiency in Korean and English required.
