Job Summary:

Assists R&D Manager in new product development

Main Responsibilities:

• Communicates daily with overseas factories to ensure production is executed correctly and on schedule

• Tracks and maintains the product development status for each product line

• Research markets regularly to identify new products, market trends and pricing

• Inspects and tests incoming raw materials, samples, and new product shipments in accordance with established procedures

• Monitors quality of all goods manufactured at each factory; inspects production samples and spot checks new product shipments

• Participates in sample review

• Participates in product specification decisions concerning new and existing product lines

• Assists in product package design and development of display and sales materials

• Assists in photo shoot and marketing activities

• Prepares and organizes the product samples for review

• Performs other duties as required

Required Knowledge, Skills and Ability:

• Working knowledge of hair piece and wig production

• Working knowledge of fashion/hair industry and hair styling

• Skilled in MS Office

• Communication Proficiency

• Problem Solving skills

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a team

• Ability to work extended hours on occasion to meet business needs

Required Experience:

• 2~3 years of hair industry and/or product development experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
