Our client is a distribution HQ for the one of the largest international supermarket in the U.S. They are seeking an experienced Korean/English bilingual candidate for the HR Manager position.
Communicate, and advise upper managements on organizational or HR policies, issues, compliance, and decisions. Acts as a liaison btw companies, teams, managers, owners.
Contract with vendors and manage vendors’ relationship.
Lead, perform HR related project.
Recruit, interview and select, match applicants.
Accountable for the new hire process & onboarding; sending, receiving and maintaining new hire documents, orientation.
Manage in determining appropriate staffing levels, recruitment resources, and objective selection techniques.
Recruitment and temporary agency vendor management.
Conduct, direct exit interviews & provide outplacement support.
Design, analyze and modify compensation & benefit programs & policies.
Identify, benchmark, and implement benefits programs, compensation structure.
Review, administer compensation, benefits, including weekly/biweekly payroll closing.
Identify, provide research data on specific changes in compliance, or policies, government regulations.(minimum wage, market compensation, )
Formulate, update, provide policies, procedures & programs for all HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, orientation, benefits & compensation, & labor relations.
Maintain, update HR data, records, reports, and compile statistical reports with HRIS.
Manage, update, analysis org chart, job descriptions & position systems.
Formulate, update, provide policies, procedures & programs for recruitment, onboarding, orientation, benefits & compensation, & labor relations.
Design, administer evaluation systems.(performance, competencies, 360 review)
Serve as a link between departments and employees by handling questions, grievances interpreting and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems.
Manage employees’ safety and wellness.
Administer, maintain knowledge of legislation, arbitration decisions, and collective bargaining agreement(Union, Labor laws & FLSA, immigration laws & visa).
Represent, handle organization at HR-related hearings and investigations.
Investigate, handle for HR related issues & accidents, harassment, violations.
Direct, maintain public platforms, database, documentation.(Workflow, forms, concur..)
Manage, maintain supplies, meals & food, company passenger vehicles.
Manage workplace cleaning & maintenance with janitors & cleaners.
Other duties as assigned
Requirement:
Bachelor's degree(required),
HR certificate preferred
Driver license preferred
Well-versed in US Federal and multi-state employment laws governing employee relations practices, payroll, FLSA, etc.
Knowledge of key areas and best practices in HR (Employee Relations, Comp & Ben, Payroll, Recruiting).
Broad HR skills, including: compensation and benefits, payroll, maintaining HRIS, performance management, labor relations; employment law, etc.
