Import Operations Assistant Manager - Air & Ocean - 1744163

Key Responsibilities

·        Monitor and guide team members for all required air and ocean import documentations to be distributed in a timely fashion to appropriate parties (i.e. delivery orders, arrival notice, etc.)

·        Communicate with air and ocean carriers, origin and destination locations regarding shipment status, special handling, and delivery of freight

·        Handle order fulfillment operations, billing, and customer service functions in a timely manner

·        Communicate with vendors and customers to obtain documents required to satisfy transaction requirements

·        Track, trace, and monitor progress of shipments and deliveries to ensure timely processing

·        Conduct market and competitor research to come up with improvement initiatives for operational purposes

·        Proactive A/R distribution and collections

·        Monitor all transactions and shipments being processed according to the requirements of the customer/shipment

·        Manage and troubleshoot low-impact problems and issues occurring in operational related tasks

Requirements

·        Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or related field

·        2-3 years in freight forwarding, logistics, and/or supply chain

·        Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills

·        Strong work ethic

·        Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

·        Strong people skills

·        Speaks Korean
