Our client is a global beauty and cosmetic products ODM company which is specialized in the production of health functional foods and medical supplies with $100M in revenue and customers such as Bath & Body Works, L’Oréal, CeraVe, Boscia, and more. They are currently seeking a candidate for the Production Analyst position.
SUMMARY:
The Production Analyst is responsible for preparing and collecting necessary data during daily production, so that the Production Director may evaluate and improve processes for production operations. This position will also manage and measure Production performance daily to establish a monthly report. The Production Analyst will manage and guide daily production outcomes for each Production Supervisor to ensure efficient production through efficiently facilitating high-level problem solving, decision making and by identifying root causes for the development of effective corrective actions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure daily production requirements are achieved to meet daily production targets.
- Train/guide the Production Manager and Supervisors to input daily production outcome with the work hour, headcount and machine hours.
- Perform validation activities for daily production outcomes from Production Manager and Supervisor.
- Prepare documents needed for daily production.
- Prepare daily production reports.
- Monitor daily & monthly production closing activity (start, work in process, and finish production).
- Interact with production floor management daily to resolve issues regarding manufacturing efficiency or additional information as requested from production and warehouse.
- Identify points of inefficiency or potential disruptions and recommend solutions that can streamline operations and improve efficiency.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Working knowledge of ERP (SAP) system preferred; working knowledge of Microsoft Office products required.
- Must possess strong organizational and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks with strict deadlines.
- Able to use logic and reasoning to identify solutions to problems.
- Demonstrates good time management skills
- Takes initiative and seeks additional training or direction as needed.
- Must be willing to abide by company's policies and procedures, including those that are safety-related.
- Self-motivated individual willing to work hard, able to work in a group and alone, and be quality conscious.
- Must be proficient in reading, writing and speaking of English.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
- Minimum of one to two (1-2) years of experience working in a manufacturing environment (Preferred).
- Working knowledge of ERP (SAP) system (Preferred).
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Required).

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Manufacturing work environment. Constant physical activities are required for this position. Able to tolerate working environment with inside hot and cold temperatures.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Activities include: ability to reach overhead, squat, and bend at the waist; the ability to lift up to 50 pounds or more; ability to climb up and down stairs throughout a shift; tolerance of standing posture continuously during shift; intense walking is involved. Dexterity for manipulating work materials; repetitive motion; proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English. Ability to respond to safety signals, such as those generated by forklifts.
