Our client company is a global leader in professional quality beauty products and treatments, with brands available in over 100 countries worldwide and generating $500 million in revenue. They are currently seeking English/Korean bilingual candidates to fill their Shipping Manager position.

Summary:

The Shipping manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the shipping operations within the warehouse. This includes coordinating shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of deliveries, and supervising a team of shipping associates.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate daily shipping activities to meet customer requirements and deadlines
• Assign tasks and monitor the performance of shipping associates to ensure efficiency and productivity
• Verify and prepare shipping documentation, including bills of lading, shipping labels, and customs forms
• Inspect and ensure proper packaging of products to prevent damage during transit
• Coordinate with carriers and logistics providers to schedule pickups and deliveries
• Conduct regular inventory checks and reconcile any discrepancies
• Maintain accurate shipping records and prepare reports on shipping activities
• Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and safety standards
• Train and mentor shipping associates on proper procedures and best practices
• Continuously identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements to streamline shipping operations

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus
• Experience in a shipping or logistics role, with at least 5 years in a supervisory capacity
• In-depth knowledge of shipping procedures, regulations, and documentation requirements
• Proficient in using shipping software and systems, such as ERP(SAP) or WMS
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling shipping documentation
• Effective communication and leadership abilities to manage a team
• Korean language skills are preferred
• Knowledge of safety regulations and practices related to shipping and handling of goods
