GNS is currently seeking to fill an accountant position at their Englewood NJ office.

Our client is specialized in crafting exceptional and timeless jewelry pieces that celebrate individuality, artistry, and elegance. They are currently seeking an experienced Accountant to join their team and support their financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in their financial processes.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks and Excel.
3. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
4. Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, tracking actual performance against projections.
5. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations and filing deadlines.
6. Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate the annual audit process.
7. Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
8. Assist with the development and improvement of financial processes and policies.
9. Provide support in ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting, as needed.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. At least 2 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping roles.
3. Strong knowledge of QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and other relevant financial software.
4. Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records.
5. Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
7. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
8. Must be bilingual in Korean and English

***MUST BE KNOWLEDGEABLE IN ORACLE NETSUITE (OR similar)

Extensive ERP knowledge is a major PLUS.

Salary will range anywhere from $60~$65K, but could be more depending on the candidates background.

Work hours are 9-6PM
