Summary

The Clerk is responsible for support in planning, submitting, recording, and managing the status of customer orders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

·        Utilize warehouse management systems to enter orders submitted by transportation staff

·        Partners with Operations and Carrier Base to ensure adequate customer service to meet expectations

·        Manage and review pending orders

·        Provide order status to customers as needed

·        Prepare appropriate labels for product to be picked

·        Completes all related documentation for orders

·        Performs other duties as assigned

·        Applicant must possess ability to work independently

·        Candidate should have strong computer, clerical, and communication skills, as well as the ability to work fast under pressure

·        Pick and pack customer orders

·        Load and wrap orders for shipping

 

Skills

The ability to read, write and communicate effectively utilizing a wide variety of networks is required. Clerks must be familiar with office machinery, as well as effectively operate on the computer systems and all required customer systems as well necessary personal computer programs.


Education and/or Experience

·        High School Diploma or equivalent

·        Experience working in a team oriented environment
