This position is responsible for assisting the manager in providing operational support by working with outside sales staff, members of management and others within the organization. The Sales Support Analyst delivers assistance to the Sales Team that is essential in helping drive the organization in exceeding its revenue goals. Must have great time management and be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with Sales, Finance, Accounting, Chemical Sales Reps, Operations and Customers. In addition, this position provides direct administrative support to the Commercial Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
· Screen potential new customers
· Send information or signup packets to potential customers
· Verify third-party/direct invoices
· Maintain system pricing
· Process and submit bids
· Provide support to Executives & Sales as needed
· Prepare reports both periodically and ad hoc
· Process rebates
· Print marketing information and assemble marketing folders
· Source documentation from manufacturers to satisfy customer requests.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: The following requirements include but are not limited to:

· Able to perform business math (basic algebra, compute rate, converting units of measure, ratio, etc.)

· Able to handle difficult customers with diplomacy and tact
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
· Valid driver’s license
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
· Prefer Bachelor’s Degree
· Minimum 1 year in similar position
· Chemical or Distribution experience is a plus
· Experience with MS Publisher, Adobe Products (Acrobat Standard, Photoshop, etc), Crystal Reports or other BI query software would be a plus.
