Responsibilities

The Implementation Specialist guides customers throughout their onboarding to our client’s platform. They collaborate closely with customers to understand their unique requirements, configure the solution to meet their needs, integrate our client’s platform with the customer's existing tech stack, validate all workflows, and manage the end-to-end implementation process.


We are looking for a motivated team player who has retail and technical acumen, strong communication skills, an interest in problem solving, and a passion for helping others. This is a super exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience at a retail tech startup, inform product and CS strategy, work closely with the founding team, and make an impact for our customers, who are some of the fastest growing retailers in the industry.


The Implementation Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Learning the ins and outs of our client’s product to advise customers on workflow and data best practices, integration, and configuration.
  • Engaging with customers to understand their requirements and configure the product and integrations to meet their business needs.
  • Partnering with customers to effectively solve problems related to data, integrations, and use of the product.
  • Leading weekly meetings with customers to ensure effective onboarding, enablement and adoption of the platform.
  • Managing the data onboarding project from post-sales to data-go-live in collaboration with the Customer Success Manager. 
  • Collaborating with team members from Sales, Product, and Customer Success to create a seamless experience as customers move from sales to onboarding, to go live
  • Creating training materials and documentation that enable our customers and promote adoption of our client
  • Demonstrating attention to detail, resilience, and flexibility in a fast paced environment, while acting as an internal advocate for customer needs


Is this you?

  • 3+ years of professional experience in Business/Data Analytics, SaaS Implementation, Merchandise Planning, Technical Customer Onboarding, Project Management, or similar industries.
  • Strong Excel skills and knowledge of data integration (CSV imports, Netsuite, Shopify, BigQuery, Snowflake, SFTP, etc.).
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools or SQL is preferred.
  • Detail-oriented, strong written and verbal communicator, passionate about retail tech and data, and able to manage time effectively.
  • Positive, self-motivated, high-energy, coachable individual with the ability to adapt to change.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organized and capable of effectively managing multiple complex implementation projects simultaneously.
  • Dynamic, highly-motivated individual who loves rolling up their sleeves and wearing multiple hats.
  • Able to communicate effectively and advise on technical elements, including configuration and integration.
  • Passionate, persistent, and innovative in the face of setbacks, collaborating to keep things moving forward.
  • Utilizes available resources to problem-solve, address customer issues, and further their own product knowledge.
  • Demonstrates genuine empathy for others and is excited to help customers achieve their goals.
  • Eager to be part of a team of hard-working, effective, collaborative, diverse, and fun people.
