Regional Sales Manager, Outside & Inside Sales Teams

A PLUS if you Have: 

·        If you have experience leading sales teams 8 to 10+ within the home improvement or similar, great transition. Examples: Windows, Doors, Flooring, Pest Control, Home Alarm Systems, Home Automation or similar.

Summary

The Sales Manager is responsible for supervising and organizing our sales team. The sales manager develops and coaches the sales team, develops our selling techniques and playbook, fosters camaraderie among the team, handles hiring and firing, training, and conducts regular assessments and tracks daily activities within the sales team. 

You will manage and work closely with sales staff and regional directors to meet organizational goals.

Essential Responsibilities:

•      Develop and implement strategies designed to increase sales team productivity.

•      Established sales targets.

•      Build sales budget and determine best strategy for achieving them. 

•      Determine staffing needs for the sales team and ensure recruitment efforts are being made. 

•      Work with marketing to drive consistent and quality lead flow.

•      Develop and complete training for all new hires and continual training for entire sales staff

•      Discipline and provide coaching to salespeople as necessary.

•      Engage in one-on-one reviews with your team to maximize performance.

•      Strategize new training methods to be implemented

•      Partner with sale and marketing dept to set and progress towards goals •  Collect and interpret data to determine effectiveness of training techniques

•      Write and publish training materials. 

•      Manage organizational sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue, and expense controls.

•      Developing your sales team through motivation, counseling, and service offering knowledge education.

•      Promoting the organization and services

•      Understand our ideal customers and how they relate to our services

 

Experience:

•      Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and/or a high school diploma with a combination of education and /or proven success in prior sales jobs;

•      2 -3 years of Sales management experience or prior sales training is highly desired.

•      Experience in planning and implementing sales.

•      Experience in customer relationship management.

•      Experience developing training materials.

Schedule:

•      Mon-Fri 9am – 5:00 pm; Select Saturdays, 8am-12pm (1-2 per month) with variance based on peak times and staffing needs.
