The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for identifying and creating new qualified sales opportunities for the sales team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about sales and looking to develop their career in a high-growth, dynamic environment. The SDR will work closely with the marketing and sales teams to drive revenue growth.




Responsibilities:

Lead Generation:

  • Generate pipeline and leads, taking full ownership over the pipeline, whether it originates from marketing efforts or personal outreach.

Product Knowledge:

  • Demonstrate strong product knowledge and effectively communicate the value proposition and differentiation of the product to prospects.

Proactive Diagnosis:

  • Proactively diagnose issues with the sales process, pipeline, marketing efforts, etc., and provide feedback to improve the overall sales operation.

Pipeline Management:

  • Maintain and manage a robust pipeline of leads, ensuring consistent follow-up and engagement to move prospects through the sales funnel.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the Account Executive (AE) team to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads and provide feedback on lead quality and market trends.

Reporting:

  • Track and report on key metrics related to lead generation, outreach activities, and pipeline status.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of SDR/BDR experience, preferably with experience in both inbound and outbound sales.

Complex B2B SaaS Solutions:

  • Experience selling more complex B2B SaaS solutions, rather than simpler products.

Communication Skills:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively translate complex technical information into simple, digestible value propositions for prospects.

Coachable:

  • Willing to work closely with the AE and leadership to continuously improve the sales process.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales engagement tools.

Location:

  • Preferred location in states where the company is registered, including California, New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts.
