Job Description: Backend Engineer

• Performance Optimization: Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, and participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve bottlenecks and performance issues.
• Security: Implement security and data protection measures.
• Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for developed systems and APIs.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our solutions.

Requirements:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience as a Backend Engineer, ideally in a SaaS environment.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in backend technologies such as Node.js, Python, Java, or similar.
• API Development: Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Database Knowledge: Experience with database systems, both SQL and NoSQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• DevOps Skills: Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Cloud Platforms: Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Software Principles: Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
• Communication: Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Industry Knowledge: Experience in the logistics or supply chain industry is a plus.
