Our client, an innovative start up in the logistics technology space is looking to bring on a Business Development Representative to join their growing sales team. The ideal candidate is a competitive self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced environment.



Responsibilities


  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Making outbound calls daily and work with partners to generate interest, quality prospects and close sales
  • Analyze and solicit new business from new and existing customers
  • Prospect call preparation including company background research and other pertinent lead information
  • Monitor and review service reports daily to ensure on-time delivery
  • Manage new business growth objectives


Qualifications


  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Self managed and highly motivated with strong negotiation and sales abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
