Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Outside Sales Representative (OSR) will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by identifying, prospecting, and closing deals with new customers. The OSR will work closely with potential clients to understand their operational pain points and demonstrate how our solutions can address their specific needs. This role requires a combination of sales acumen, technical expertise, and strong communication skills to effectively navigate the sales process and build lasting customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients and market segments to generate new business leads.
  2. Prospecting: Utilize various channels, including cold calling, email outreach, and social media, to initiate discussions with leads and introduce our company's offerings.
  3. Qualification: Conduct initial conversations with potential clients to assess their needs, budget, and interest in our products/services.
  4. Appointment Setting: Schedule qualified leads for meetings or product demonstrations with the sales team.
  5. Cost Estimating, Quoting, and Leadership Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to develop optimal proposals that address customer pain points while maximizing revenue and margins.
  6. Building Key Customer Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers through regular follow-up and strategic engagement.
  7. Customer Satisfaction: Manage customer expectations and ensure a high level of satisfaction throughout the sales process.
  8. CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of leads, interactions, and opportunities in our CRM system to effectively manage the sales pipeline.
  9. Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities and threats.
  10. Reporting: Generate regular reports on lead generation activities, conversion rates, and sales forecasting for new business wins.
  11. Feedback and Collaboration: Provide feedback to company leadership and collaborate with other functions to optimize sales efforts and support overall growth strategy.
