Strategic Supply chain Manager                                                          

 

The Dahill Group is excited to be assisting our client, a well-established and well-respected oil field services company seeking an exceptional Strategic Supply Chain Manager. This critical role within supply chain will take lead in driving supply chain excellence and strategy for their manufacturing division that designs and builds the latest in next-generation equipment for hydraulic fracturing. 

 

This position is responsible for ownership of strategic supplier management of their manufacturing division. This role will be critical in driving strategic initiatives, developing and implementing supply chain strategies that optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and support business grow while fostering collaboration across the organization and with external partners.  This position will sit in our client’s Denver or Houston office.

 

Qualifications & Requirements


·        Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operations management, engineering or experience in a related field.

·        Several years of experience in supply chain management within the manufacturing environment. Experience in supplier management, contract development and execution, production planning, inventory management, and procurement is highly desirable.

·        Strong leadership and people management skills

·        Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strategic mindset

·        Strong negotiation skills and ability to maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities


·        Develop and execute our client’s supply chain strategies aligned with organization goals, driving continuous improvement, cost optimization, and operational excellence.

·        Lead supplier selection, negotiation, contract execution/management, and performance management activities, fostering strategic partnerships, and ensuring supplier quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

·        Work closely with Manufacturing Planning team focused on supply forecasting, production planning, inventory management, and distribution strategies to meet our client’s manufacturing demand while minimizing lead times, inventory carrying costs and supply chain risks.

·        Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and streamlining supply chain process, leveraging technology, data analytics, and best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity.

·        Proactively identify, assess and mitigate supply chain risks, including supplier disruptions, inventory shortages through robust risk management strategies and contingency planning.

·        Performance Metrics and Reporting

·        Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally to facilitate smooth operations.

Salary & Benefits

 

Target Base Compensation Range: $145,000 – $185,000

Annual Cash Bonus – based on company performance

LTI - Restricted Stock units eligible

Comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, life and 401k matching.
