We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker to join our dedicated team. This role is essential in maintaining the high standards of our residential properties and ensuring a comfortable living environment for our residents. Role Overview:

The Maintenance Worker will be responsible for conducting general maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, and landscaping duties to support the optimal functioning of our properties. This role requires versatility and a broad set of maintenance skills to ensure that all aspects of property upkeep are addressed promptly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including minor electrical, plumbing, and landscaping work.
  • Respond to maintenance requests from property managers and residents in a timely manner.
  • Participate in on-call maintenance rotations for emergency repairs, which may occur during weekends (although rare).
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out safely and comply with industry standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of properties for new tenants, including performing final checks and repairs.
  • Support property management team in scheduling and executing maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Document and report maintenance activities and completed tasks to management.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in maintenance roles; skills in plumbing, electrical work, and landscaping preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish is preferred.
  • No specific certifications required, but any relevant skills or training in maintenance-related fields will be advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work within a schedule of Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with occasional on-call responsibilities.
  • High level of professionalism and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
