We are seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer for our office in Evansville, IN

Our Lake Shore division provides design/build/install services for innovative Hoisting and Vertical Conveyance Systems. Across North America, notable projects include, The Purple Line Extensions section 3 in Los Angeles, Water Tunnel number 3 in New York City, Eagle Mountain Gas Pipeline and Kemano T2 tunneling projects in British Columbia, Canada, the Inter-Quarry Tunnel in Leesburg, VA and the Century Mine in Volga, WV.

As a Civil/Structural Engineer you will be reporting to the Civil/Structural Engineering Manager, you will have the opportunity to:

· Design civil/structural systems, structures, and components

· Assist with modifications to existing equipment, systems, structures, and components

· Provide technical support to the Civil, Mining and LakeShore Divisions

· Assist with project planning and technical quotes for systems, structures, and components

· Ensure compliance with safety standards related to civil/structural systems, structures, and components

· Assist in responding to site-based requests for information, including analysis and recommendations

· Prepare and present project documents including calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports

· Travel to site as needed

Requirements:

· Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution

· Minimum of 5 years of work experience, preferably in a field related to underground construction and/or mining

· Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) or able to register as a licensed P.E. within 2 years

· Experience in design of reinforced concrete structures and steel structures

· Knowledge of Autodesk Inventor software is preferred

· Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis software is preferred #LI-Onsite
