Cyber Sales

As a Sales Account Executive, you are responsible for selling strategic solutions to assigned & new enterprise customers . Our extensive portfolio includes data, cloud, AI, security and end user solutions.

The aim is to develop business and uncover new opportunities. Build and cultivate C-level relationships to achieve these objectives, grow the account, meet revenue targets and deliver optimum customer satisfaction. Developing a firm grasp of service, cyber products and solutions.

My Client is an innovative and expanding Cyber Security sales specialist based in Reading. They are changing the way the World sees Sales Development and in an ever evolving market they continue to be disruptive. Their want is it to create a culture of creative flair, passion for the entrepreneurial and the confidence to deliver.

Ideally stemming from a Cyber Security B2B Sales or Account Management background, they are looking for an individual to support the sales process for existing clients and also hunting new business. Responsible for client retention and portfolio sales, the representative will work closely with existing clients to re-sell, up-sell, and cross-sell across the Vendors suite of Cyber Security and solution services within their most prestigious account; key to the role is working closely with clients to understand their needs and partnering with them to select appropriate packages in a consultative manner.

As a pivotal member of the Team, we are looking for someone who has a natural flair to build rapport alongside the ability to support and guide customers through the sales process. You will possess the key skills to communicate at the highest levels, both internally and externally. Your drive, passion and willingness to achieve for both yourself and the greater good, runs in your blood.

  • Provide sales service to existing clients to ensure the provision is kept at the highest of levels
  • With a customer-centric approach, progress clients through our process, including gathering sales intelligence and objection handling, as well as explore and promote up-sell and cross-sell opportunities
  • You will be highly talented in your field, experienced in account management & sales and looking for a challenge within an exceptional business.




Skillset, Experience and Qualifications

  • Enviable previous Sales or Account Executive/Management experience in Corporate B2B is essential; most certainly within Cyber/Network Security, you will have at least 3 years experience in Cyber Security/Data Security/AI and can quantify the deals you have led and attained.

·        Familiarity with other SIEM, UEBA and SOAR technologies.

·        Ability to communicate concisely and accurately with no fear of public speaking to audiences large and small.

·        Experience of driving complex security sales cycles up and down an enterprise customer organisation. You are able to build deal from the find to the close.

·        Experience with security frameworks and models like CIS Controls and MITRE ATT&CK.

·        Experience with anti-fraud or compliance standards.

·        Preferred – a portfolio of public-facing materials e.g. blogs, presentations, etc that you have authored.

·        Be able to manage a prestigious account but also be a fierce hunter, wanting to business develop naturally, you’ll strive for excellence at every level and with every interaction

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely whilst building rapport and trust
  • Customer centric approach to sales; understanding their needs and drivers with the ability to handle objections and remove barriers
  • Positive and engaging telephone manner
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills with experience of using a CRM at a skilled level
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and work in a positive but highly charged environment
  • Strong organisational skills with a high attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks at any given time

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000* per year (OTE up to double the base)

Location: Office is in Reading, England but a remote position will be considered.

*You will be able to demonstrate that you have brought in deal sizes of £1 plus and have a full sales cycle, so you can find leads and develop all the way to close.
