Sr. (Salesforce) Software Engineer

We are looking for a Sr. Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Engineer to join the Digital Applications team driving innovation and user success, addressing problems, and integrating experience platform. The SFMC Engineer responsibilities include customizing the SFMC platform to address business needs, building specialized queries, journeys, and integrations, modernizing the current SFMC instance, and further expanding the functionality provided by Salesforce.

To be a good fit for this opportunity you will have:


  • 5+ years in the information technology, marketing technology, or related fields
  • Experience working in consumer products and technology industries
  • Expert knowledge of the SFMC platform and specific add-ons
  • 2+ years specialized in the SFMC platform working as a developer/engineer
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer certification is preferred

Solid understanding of:

  • Solution architecture and needs analysis
  • How Salesforce structures, stores, and consumes data SQL and SQL queries
  • Data management and ETL practices


  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of how data flows out of Salesforce and how data is consumed by Salesforce.
  • Manage the integrations, data, and AmpScript development for the SFMC platform.
  • Create and manage advanced Automation Studio requests (JavaScript, file management, etc.)
  • Support advanced journey-builder, Einstein, and Interaction Studio requests.
  • Create custom data extracts and work with SFMC support integrating otherwise hidden tables.
  • The ability to create and manage data extensions.
  • The ability to create and manage Audiences
  • Manage Einstein integrations and customization.
  • Support content builder component creation and customization.
  • Understand and support content blocks, dynamic content, and templates
  • Deliver integrated development to support marketing strategies.
  • Work with Web Marketing and Digital Communications teams to deliver ideal customer experiences.
