Description of Role:
• Coordinate, organize and schedule engagements to ensure all deadlines are met
• Prepare financial statements and related disclosures to ensure compliance with reporting requirements
• Prepare and review engagement workpapers
• Manage audits including single audits / Prepare related tax returns
• Minimal travel requirements
Requirements:
• 5-10+ Years Accounting Experience
• Previous Auditing (and Tax) Experience Required
• Previous Public Accounting experience
• Bachelor’s Degree – Accounting/Finance
* Previous experience in non-profit and government sectors running single audits
• Strong Working Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Quickbooks and Excel Proficient
• Knowledge of Profx a plus
• CPA (active or inactive) or/and working towards obtaining license
• Commuting Distance and/or willing to relocate to Danbury, CT (Remote and Hybrid options available)
