Reports to: Sales + Marketing Manager

Compensation Package: Hourly wage

RESPONSIBILITIES

In the quickly evolving landscape of a startup firm, we are looking for someone to wear many hats. Objectives include:

 

·      Sales + Business Development –

o  Data entry and record keeping of CRM (customer relationship management) software.  

o  Utilize online tools and platforms to uncover sales leads within our target market.

o  Conduct research, send emails, and update records.

o  Learn to craft unique sales messages to attract our target market and setup sales meetings for the Sales Manager.

o  Assist in the development of sales presentations.

o  Help coordinate sales meetings on the Sales Manager’s calendar using online platforms.

o  Attend meetings for note taking.

o  Sourcing candidates as needed: Research and source a broad range of high-quality professionals through the use of Boolean Strings and online platforms.

 

·      Other –

o  Highlight our unique, philanthropic business model to all prospects, clients, and stakeholders.

o  Be a part of a team that invests in the community and gives back 10% of company profit to nonprofits that serve women experiencing domestic violence in the West Michigan community.

o  Facilities Management: Oversee inventory of office stock and manage office cleanliness as needed.

o  Help plan and purchase supplies for events including the purchase of alcohol.

o  Cross function with all internal departments, including finance, operations, marketing, etc.

o  Light travel as needed.

o  Other duties as required.

 

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

•      Hands-on experience in each stage of the sales funnel.

•      Life at a recruiting firm.

•      Exposure to business platforms much as Microsoft Office & Teams, CRM, applicant tracking system, LinkedIn, Trello, and online contact search platforms.   

•      The daily life of an Entrepreneur & Start-up Landscape.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

·      Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, specifically majoring in Sales preferred. 

·      Experience using Microsoft Suite, including Office Outlook and Microsoft Teams preferred.

·      Experience using LinkedIn preferred.

·      Exceptional skills in Microsoft PowerPoint preferred.

·      A passion for learning and self-growth.

·      Belief in our passion that is People > Profit.

·      Enthusiasm to help grow a startup and eagerness to wear many hats.

·      A track record of personal accountability, strong work ethic, integrity, and proven organization skills with attention to detail.

·      Ability to travel throughout the Grand Rapids Metropolitan area as needed.

·      Must have the ability to purchase alcohol for events.

·      Excitement and knowledge that recruiting is a 24/7 work environment.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

·      Hybrid work environment, moderate noise level for an office environment

·      Height adjustable desks available

·      Ability to interact face-to-face and over the phone

·      Ability to work at a steady pace with frequent interruptions

·      Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on a regular basis
