Tax Senior

Are you a Senior Tax Associate who is tired of the stereotypical CPA Firm mindset that rewards your HARD, EXCELLENT WORK with MORE HARD WORK?

Do you struggle to see the vision of the firm that sold to you when you joined them? Has that vision and culture gotten lost in the hustle and bustle of GROW, GROW, GROW - BILL, BILL, BILL?

Do you still love all the things that attracted you to public accounting, but dread the continued LONG HOURS, LACK OF FLEXIBILITY & FEELING LIKE YOU'RE UNDER-APPRECIATED?

Your answer MAY NOT be to jettison all your years of hard work and career growth for an industry role where today's work resembles every other day.

Benaiah Consulting Group is committed to partnering with CPA firms that passionately hold to values that embrace a high level of employee engagement, personal and professional development, respect for family, and a true belief in work-life balance.

To that end, we have recently partnered with a Dallas-based, mid-sized CPA firm that has a four-decade track record of success that is built on the foundation of one thing - EXCEPTIONAL EMPLOYEES.

That success is evidenced in a senior leadership team with an average tenure of over 18 years; a staff and senior consultant tenure of six years and a turnover rate under 7% the last eight years.

Due to their continued growth, our client is seeking to add a Senior Tax Associate to their successful tax practice.

The successful candidate is someone that values a culture that is known for honesty, candor, collaboration, acceptance of differing opinions and views, has zero-tolerance toward egos, hierarchy or "corporate culture" games.

In this role, our client is seeking a diamond that is under-valued in their current role that will be responsible for:

  • Review of work product and facilitate delivery of results to managers, partners and clients
  • Participate in client engagements including S-Corps, Partnerships, Trust/Estate, High Net Worth individuals
  • Continually assessing client engagement needs to recommend changes as client requirements evolve and grow
  • Actively participate in development of training for new interns/team members
  • Research tax legislation/statutes to assist in understanding the impact on compliance and planning

To succeed in this role, our client is seeking a professional that brings the following skills to the table:

  • BBA in Accounting; MBA will be a plus
  • 2+ years overall tax experience in a CPA firm/public accounting environment
  • RECENT CPA FIRM experience is a MUST
  • CPA
  • Track record of success and growth
  • Passionate about people and being a part of a firm that is first and foremost committed to PEOPLE

In exchange for your expertise and commitment to success, our client offers a highly competitive compensation structure that includes base salary, bonus, exceptional benefits including an on-site gym, free personal training, flexible Work From Home opportunities (that existed long before COVID), 401K match and vesting immediately and busy-season work weeks under 50-55 hours.

If you are considering a change before facing another tax season of 70-80+ hours and a workload that only gets deeper and deeper, then take 10 minutes and contact us to discuss this opportunity.
