Our client, a national leader in
their industry, is hiring a net new Business Analyst position on their team as
part of their multi-year digital transformation roadmap. This particular
role will revolve around Digital Apps! The ideal candidate will have
digital application experience and been a BA on projects converting legacy
applications into newer, more modern architectures.
This role will bridge the gap
between front end and back end teams and work heavily with UI, rules engines
and APIs. An ideal candidate also tests programming changes in the test
environment, analyzes results, identifies concerns, and communicates findings.
This position can be remote or
local in Atlanta, GA. If local, candidate will work from home until it is
safe to return to an office environment post Covid-19.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Specific Requirements:
- Rules
Engine/Business Rules, APIs, and UI work. (the UI work into the rules
engines and the APIs)
- Modernizing
legacy architecture
- Digital
Apps/Electronic forms experience
- Data
Mapping/Modeling
Qualifications and Skills needed:
- Bachelor’s
degree or equivalent business experience
- 3
– 5 years of Business Analysis, Quality Control, and Information Systems
experience
- 2
years’ service as Business Systems Analyst or equivalent business and
technical experience
- Ability
to manage people and projects
- Fully
cross-trained in all operation team functions
- Math
aptitude and basic accounting skills
- Ability
to work with programmers, coordinators, technical support staff, clerical
staff, and management of other departments
- Strong
communication skills including presentations
Performs analysis of departmental
systems and procedures involved in testing:
- Develops
project specifications for required testing
- Develops
operational workflow to include paper handling, correspondence (in and
out), screens and reports (online, paper and fiche) relevant to testing
- Develops
project proposal to include requirement definition, test, and
implementation plans
Implements projects:
- Coordinates
project testing and result verification with user area
- Communicates
results of testing to user management, staff, and other interested parties
- Coordinates
project implementation with user area
- Performs
post-implementation follow up to ensure accuracy and resolution of
problems identified in project proposal
