TITLE: PROJECT MANAGER


LOCATION: REMOTE


COMP: 90,000 -110,000 + PENSION + BONUS


DESCRIPTION


In this role, we're looking for a Project Manager to plan, manage, and deliver project(s) as part of the Transformation Program. The individual selected for this role will be responsible for managing project(s) and will work in partnership with a cross-functional project team, Program/Project Managers, Executive Sponsors, Business Owners/Leads, and additional stakeholders to ensure alignment to strategic and operational objectives.


REQUIREMENTS:


• Manage the Digital Operations and Security project portfolio.

• Support ITSM processes to customers (internal and external)

• Responsible for delivering project(s) on time, on scope and within budget

• Drives the planning and implementation of moderately complex, high-profile project(s), working closely with cross-functional teams and resources to achieve business and program goals and objectives

• Plans, directs, and coordinates activities for project(s) from initiation to implementation

• Participates in and/or leads development of the project charter/business case and change impact assessment

• Creates, establishes, and manages project plans, schedule, budget, and resource needs / allocation intended to achieve multiple project milestones within established timeframes and budgets

• Supports senior team leaders in scheduling, prioritization, and sequencing for the project(s) 

• Facilitates and assists in defining the project scope and capturing business and technical requirements to meet the project goals, objectives, and success criteria

• Manages project deliverables to control project scope

• Ensures consistent visibility for the department, project teams, and executive/senior management by monitoring, reporting, and communicating project status, accomplishments towards milestones and objectives, and risks and issues 

• Establishes cadence for communication with project team(s) and stakeholders

• Identifies and removes obstacles and impediments at the project level, escalating as needed, to ensure business and operational objectives are met

• Manages risks and issues by using project management practices to address execution challenges associated with quality, schedule, and cost

• Communicates with senior Program/Project Manager(s) and project stakeholders and provides insight on issues through root cause analyses

• Fosters a team atmosphere and facilitates collaboration on innovative solutions and/or creative alternatives to project challenges 

• Determines interdependencies of work within a project 

• Coordinates testing requirements and plan

• Coordinates and manages integration / implementation / go-live activities

• Partners with Change Management and impacted functions to coordinate training and drive and support the adoption and sustainment of changes within the organization

• Participates in work effort closure activities to determine benefit / business impact realization

• Adheres to our routines and protocols, processes, tools and templates 

• Ensures compliance with company and regulatory policies and procedures

• Identifies and applies best practices and needed process improvements



THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE


• Be able to successfully work on multiple projects or priorities simultaneously

• Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders, team members, technologists, stakeholders, and end users

• Possess strong interpersonal skills and collaborative working style

• Have knowledge of multiple project management methodologies, including, but not limited to, Agile and Waterfall

• Have knowledge of Azure, IT infrastructure and software development processes

• Have a good understanding of Change Management, Incident Management and Problem Management processes

• Be proficient in a range of project management tools and applications including JIRA and Confluence

• Be able to work independently with minimal supervision and within tight deadlines



QUALIFICATIONS


• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

• Six (6) or more years of relevant project or program management experience within a technology-focused company supporting IT or business-related projects

• Experience with Jira and Confluence

• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification required

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) preferred

• Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundations Certification preferred
