The Child and Family Therapy Center of Denver is a multi-disciplinary agency that integrates Child and Family Therapy, Play Therapy, Music Therapy, Massage Therapy, Psychological Assessments and Psychiatric Care. The clients are primarily 18 years old or younger, though we commonly work with families that cover all age ranges. Therapists work from our offices in Greenwood Village, CO and Westminster, CO as well as in client homes and in the community.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to write reports identifying patient goals, outcomes and interventions.
• Strong organizational skills to balance productivity needs and required paperwork.
• Ability to provide individual and family therapy sessions to children and their families.
• Ability to work until 7pm two days a week and until 6pm two days a week.

Job Duties:

• Evaluates patient capabilities and develops a treatment plan of therapeutic activities adapted to the needs, interests, abilities and medical history of patients.
• Establishes therapeutic goals for individuals and plan programs to meet these goals.
• Periodically evaluates patient's progress toward established goals.
• Maintains clinical notes and records.
• Coordinates the therapy program with other services such as music therapy, in order to accomplish overall therapeutic goals.
• Facilitates therapy groups for patients and their families.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• LPC, LCSW
• Ability to write reports identifying patient goals, outcomes and interventions
• Two years’ experience providing therapeutic treatment services to children
• Some evening availability

Preferred Qualifications:

• Spanish Speaking
• EMDR Trained
• Trained in play therapy
• Experience working with clients with terminal or chronic illnesses
