Then this is for you.  Our client who has a prominent presence within the Banking industry seeks to hire an Account Manager for Commercial Banking in their offices in Nicosia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The attraction of new business by identifying key potential clients and conducting meetings
  • Enhancement of the client relationship through regular visits to the clients’ premises and good knowledge of the client’s activities
  • Cross-selling of other products and services of the Bank to current clients
  • Continuous effort to contribute to meeting and exceeding the unit’s financial and other targets
  •  Handling of questions, clarification requirements and complaints made by clients and provide solutions to client issues that may arise
  • Acting proactively in handling issues concerning client accounts (excesses, delays, etc.) and recognizing early signals that a client may become problematic
  • Provision of fast and efficient response to clients’ requests
  • Collection of all supporting information/documentation and preparation of comprehensive credit requests, as per the Bank’s Credit Policy Manual
  • Following the approval of credit requests by the Credit Committee, coordination of the procedure for the preparation and signing of documentation and the correct implementation of the facilities
  • Ensure adherence to the approved terms and conditions

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelors in Economics, Finance Accounting, Banking or a relevant field
  • Master’s degree in Finance, Banking or a relevant field
  • Professional qualification ACCA, ACA will be considered as an advantage
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Corporate/Commercial Banking or a similar field i.e. audit firm
  • Ideally, good knowledge of the Bank’s products and services
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office software
  • Excellent awareness and understanding of the banking environment, the economy, and the overall local market
  • Advanced financial analysis skills
  • Effective writing and presentation skills
  • Fluent in both Greek and English (additional languages are considered a plus)
  • Sharp with attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good personality with a friendly and professional attitude
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Resourceful with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
