The Position: 

As a Service Financial Advisor, you will be assigned client relationships to manage and the  number of clients you are assigned will increase over time. You will initially work with the  primary advisor to these clients to transition communication, reviews and general advising to  you. This will typically take 1-3 meetings with the client. Your primary responsibilities will  consist of working with these assigned clients on all of their financial planning needs including  investment strategies, legacy planning, risk management, insurance planning, tax planning,  cash flow planning, etc.  


Responsibilities:

  • Develop meaningful and lasting relationships with clients and their families
  • Develop advising strategies for clients in investment planning, estate planning, risk  management, tax planning, education planning, philanthropic planning, cash management, and other areas to help them reach financial and legacy planning objectives
  • Reviewing client accounts and financial plans on a regular basis to understand if life or  economic changes, situational concerns, or financial performance necessitate changes in their plan
  • Analyzing financial data received from clients to develop strategies for meeting clients'  financial goals
  • Preparing or interpreting financial document summaries, investment performance reports, and income projections for clients
  • Managing and updating client portfolio strategies as appropriate
  • Proactively contacting clients regularly to continue to build relationships and discover changes that have or could impact their financial plan
  • Building additional client relationships through referrals from existing clients and centers of  influence 


Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Financial Planning or related area required
  • CFP® or ChFC® designation preferred 
  • Series 7 and Series 66 (or Series 63 and 65)  
  • Life and Health licenses or willingness to obtain within 90 days 
  • Proficient computer skills (ability to access email and the Internet) and proficiencies in  Outlook, Word, Excel, and Salesforce are desired
  • Strong working knowledge across a variety of financial products and services (debt  management, cash management, insurance coverage, investments, etc.)
  • Proven ability to provide strategic advice in the above areas articulately
  • Desire to grow the prospect pipeline
